Panini Cafe is a great restaurant chain located throughout Southern California that serves a mix of Italian and Mediterranean food.  The place is most known for salads and sandwiches, and has a pretty good vegetarian selection.  The food is good, not great, but very fast and the service is fantastic. It is a great place for office lunch breaks and weekend brunch type meals.  I recently visited the new downtown LA location which is located across from the Ralph’s grocery store and has a great outdoor seating area.  I would definitely recommend trying Panini Cafe when you need a quick and healthy bite to eat.  Panini Cafe’s competition is definitely Aroma Cafe, but right now Aroma Cafe has the edge with better tasting food and a vibrant atmosphere.
